a couple of music projects came up (at least one of which was unexpected) and, being the non-musician musician that i am, have been busy sweating the details of learning set after set of new songs. i am invariably amazed how the brain manages to find un-wasted storage cells to retain chord changes - truly a wonderful thing, especially when considering the other sputtering half of it worries if i'll recall to pay the phone bill.
if you're in qingdao, the one project which is a jazz-ish trio (guitar, sax, vocals) will be opening in a swanky place real soon and i'll give up the specifics once it's all set to launch.
