geezus, here we go again. i saw larry coryell a few times, twice with the eleventh house and once solo on acoustic guitar. the eleventh house band was intense. it was larry's alternate mahavishnu orchestra universe - they with the bombardment of billy cobham's wall of drums and larry with alphonse mouzon's relentless poundings (mouzon passed away christmas 2016). it's so sad he's gone and at a relatively young age but he literally performed until his passing which i have to say is a pretty envious departure from one's existence.
